Natural Forms in Tiny Timber Frames

These shots are from two small projects we completed at Heartwood School during my summer apprenticeship. Was a great chance to learn some traditional, and some more modern, scribing techniques for incorporating natural forms into timber frames. The instruction was top notch from Josh Jackson (http://timberhomesllc.com/), Dave Carlon, and Will Beemer.  The first frame below is the sweetest looking pump house in Massachusetts, and the other is to be a learning kiosk within the butterfly house at Project Native.
